Thank you for choosing Multiplication (“the App”). We value your privacy and want you to understand how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Multiplication is a paid mobile application designed for children and adults aged 7 and up to practice multiplication skills. The App is available for purchase on the Google Play Store. We do not serve advertisements or offer in-app purchases. We do not run our own servers to store personal data; all user-generated data is kept on your device.
Nickname: You can optionally set a nickname within the App. This nickname is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us or any third-party servers.
We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google/Firebase, to identify and address performance issues and crashes. Crashlytics may collect non-personally identifiable data such as:
This information does not identify you personally. We use this data solely to improve the stability and performance of the App.
Improving the App: We analyze crash reports to fix bugs, enhance stability, and improve your user experience. We do not use this information for marketing or profiling.
No Personal Data for Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information. Since the nickname and any other user-generated data remain on your device, we have no access to it.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, the GDPR applies to our processing of your data.
Legitimate Interest: We rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a functional and secure App to process crash data. This includes ensuring the App operates correctly, identifying errors, and improving user experience.
Since we do not process personally identifiable information or analytics data for marketing or profiling, we do not require explicit consent for crash reporting. However, you have the right to object to this processing if you choose.
Our App is designed for children and adults aged 7 and up. We take steps to ensure that no personally identifiable information is collected. The crash data we receive from Firebase Crashlytics is anonymized and cannot be used to identify a user personally.
Under GDPR, if a child under 16 is in the EEA, processing of personal data typically requires parental or guardian consent. Since we do not collect personal data and only process anonymized crash data, we do not require such consent. However, parents and guardians should review this policy and ensure they are comfortable with the limited, anonymized data collection for app stability purposes.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights:
To exercise these rights, please contact us at multiplicationcontact@hindelid.com.
We do not collect personal information as defined under CCPA that would identify you specifically. However, if you believe that we have collected identifiable personal information, you may:
To submit such a request, please contact us at multiplicationcontact@hindelid.com.
We do not provide an in-app toggle for disabling crash reports, as these are considered essential for maintaining the App. However, you may be able to limit crash and diagnostic data sharing at the device or operating system level.
For guidance, please consult your device’s documentation or settings. Disabling these diagnostics at the device level may limit our ability to identify and resolve issues.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other legal reasons. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
